Pull-Up Leader Board (in a strange land)
So yesterday I went to visit a customer for work and was talking to some of the people that work in the mail room. They had a pull-up bar in their door way, and I inquired about it, and said that I liked pull-ups. They didn’t quite believe that I could even DO a pull-up, let alone that I liked them.
I repped out 5 strict pull-ups in front of about 6 guys and they were highly impressed. One of them even mentioned that I went all the way down to a dead hang. Isn’t that the ONLY way to DO pull-ups? Lol.
After I finished one of the guys said, “Put her name up there. She’s the only girl!” I noticed that next to the door way they had a little scratch sheet of paper with everyone’s PR on it. I didn’t check to see how many of them I had beat, maybe next time, when I go for 6.
Ready for Valentines Day.
Since I’m choosing to not eat any candy on Valentine’s day and can’t share a box of chocolates with my Valentine, I made these raw brownie cocoroons (I’ve made them before here and link to recipe here and they are chocolatey goodness!)
Let me tell you shaping them into little hearts was a lot more time consuming then rolling them into balls! But they turned out cute and maybe can become a new Valentine’s Day tradition! <3

even minute = 60 second plank
surpisingly I was able to hold the planks for the whole 60 seconds each time. Not sure how my form was… but at least I didn’t have to put a knee down! :)
Still on track with LiveFit 310 challenge
So I haven’t been posting daily food/LiveFit stats, but I’m still doing well and not totally off the LiveFit wagon. I’ve definitely had some food cheats though. If anyone is interested in my food, water intake, sleep and exercise for the last 6 days (riveting stuff, I know) here it is:
I just made chocolate pudding out of avocados and it tastes delicious! Whaaaaaaaaat…?
(I subbed the nama shoyu for coconut aminos, because that’s what I had on hand.)
As Laura Miller says in her youtube video, I was totally freaked out by this recipe, but I can’t deny it’s DELICIOUS!! This will definitely be made again and again for healthy desserts in the future!
